Biography 

Tammy Piotter is a mature therapist with genuine warmth and compassion for her clients. Her educational and life experiences allow her to connect with individuals from various backgrounds in a supportive and inspiring therapeutic style, while utilizing a person-centered approach. She has over 20 years of experience in behavioral health settings including; human services, individual, couples and group therapy. Her methods are designed to assist individuals in actively learning and applying ways to manage symptoms and create the life they want and deserve.

Specializing in personal and relationship dynamics, structured goal planning, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Conflict & Anger Resolution, Meditation, Co-Occurring Disorders, as well as Anxiety & Depression. She has experience in supporting individuals and their families with alcohol and substance abuse challenges. Other areas of expertise include Certifications as a Trainer of WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Planning), Esteem Building . In addition, Tammy holds certifications in Biblical Counseling and NTU Counseling (An Afrocentric Approach to Health and Healing).

Most of all, Tammy enjoys providing supports to assist her clients in  identifying and overcoming barriers that are interfering with their ability to reach their full potential, desires and goals.

Services are offered weekdays as well as evenings to accommodate the needs of those who find it more convenient to meet outside of normal business hours.
